Why “Normal Reports” Don’t Always Mean You Are Healthy

Falling within a 'normal' range doesn't always equal optimal health. Learn why a doctor's interpretation is as vital as the test results themselves.
One of the most common misconceptions is: “My reports are normal, so I’m healthy.”
But “normal” ranges are broad—and often designed for populations, not individuals. In clinical practice, I often see patients with values that fall within the “normal” range but are not optimal for their body.
Examples of Early Warning Signs: * Blood sugar trending upward * Cholesterol slowly increasing * Liver enzymes mildly elevated
Health is not just about being within range. It is about being in the right range for you. A doctor’s interpretation is as important as the report itself.
